Clever Oktoberfest Beer Tastings

emblem_startIt’s Oktoberfest time and in honor of the festive season, to coindide with our Tapas Tuesdays at Clever Wine Bar we will be hosting a FREE tasting of some great German beers from some of Germany’s finest breweries every Tuesday in October from 6:00 to 8:00. If you like what you try you can drink them at Clever tonight for retail pricing. Joining as guest “beertender” is Jared Breaux of International Wines and Spirits, perhaps the best boutique beer wholesaler in the city.

Today’s tasting (10/13) will feature the beers from Weihenstephan Brewery, the oldest working brewery in the world. We will be tasting for free today: Korbinian (Doppelbock), Märzen (Oktoberfest), Hefeweizen and the original Munich Helles Lager. These beers are with few peers in the land of lederhosen.
