Vino on the Bayou – Friday, May 15th

A great way to wind down on a Friday afternoon in New Orleans style returns to Bayou St. John this Friday.

Cork & Bottle and the Louisiana Landmarks Society continues our popular wine tasting series at the historic Pitot House on scenic Bayou St. John on Friday, May 15th. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 and will include five different wines hand picked by the Cork & Bottle staff.

Also featured will be a live performance by the very talented Sasha Masakowski (that’s her there to the right) who will sing along while you watch the sun set into the bayou and you set into your glass of wine.

All proceeds will go to the Louisiana Landmarks Society which in turn helps preserve some of our city’s most significant and historic properties. Don’t let us become Houston, help save our old buildings! The cost is only $10 per person for 5 very nice wines, a singer with a beautiful voice, historical surroundings and a great cause. Tickets will be sold at the door, there is no need to pre-purchase tickets.
