Vino on the Bayou is this Friday, September 25th.

After a break for the steamy summer, a great way to wind down on a Friday afternoon in New Orleans style returns to Bayou St. John.

Cork & Bottle and the Louisiana Landmarks Society continues our popular wine tasting series at the historic Pitot House on scenic Bayou St. John on Friday, September 25th. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 and will include four different wines hand picked by the Cork & Bottle staff.  In addition we’ll also have the swinging, sultry voice of jazz vocalist Romy Kaye who’s swooning voice will provide the perfect backdrop to a wonderful afternoon.

All proceeds will go to the Louisiana Landmarks Society which in turn helps preserve some of our city’s most significant and historic properties. Don’t let us become boring, help save our old buildings! The cost is only $10 per person for 4 very nice wines, some great tunes, historical surroundings and a great cause. Tickets will be sold at the door, there is no need to pre-purchase tickets.
