I think I fell in love with the "world" of wine first. I was mesmerized by wine buyers, restaurateurs, avid consumers, what they were eating, drinking and buying, by their excitement and interest. Then, I began to really understand what the buzz was all about: the intricacies of wine, its sense of place, each wine's science and story. I have studied and learned and worked over the years,and ironically enough, all that knowledge has brought me right back to where I started. I work in wine because of the people. It is a little different now. It is about helping people find what they like to drink, listening to their stories and finding a way to enhance their lives thru a bunch of grapes in a Cork and Bottle.
